Doc-Manager

Doc-Manager, the sophisticated documents production tool (Edit Unique Document, Occupational Health Accident Report, Call lists, Fire Department Notice, etc) is entirely integrated within KITRY-EHS-MS.

When most programs are just simply producing listings from another age, Doc-Manager, thanks to its integration, its ease of use and its power, allows to produce complex page layouts and extremely detailed reports.

There are a lot of different possibilities, the produced documents can be adapted to customers' requirements:

  • page sizes and orientation, globally or for each page
  • paragraphs' formats
  • multi-columns and/or sections
  • various font types and sizes
  • styles and colours
  • frames and borders
  • tables & charts & graphics
  • pictures, images, scans and x-rays images
  • links to various documents
  • links to local network or Internet
  • etc.

For example, the clients' logos can be used in any documents, complex paper documents can easily and perfectly be reproduced, templates models can be saved, etc.

On his demand, the client can attend Doc-Manager trainings in order to be able to create independently his own documents.
KITRY can, of course, create all the required documents before the final installation, or if required, afterwards.

The documents are produced in "Microsoft Word 97/2000/Xp", the most known and used. MS Word is currently required to produce a document.
Though, Word is not required to display and/or print those documents. A free viewer (MS Word Viewer) is available. Those documents can also be opened by any word processor with an MS Word import filter.
The Open Source solution, OpenOffice a free alternative which can totally replace MS Office, can also be used to view the documents.
